Dear Parents:

Once again we can all be proud of our students. We raised

our test scores this year by 22 points and so in two years we

have come up over 80 points. Fantastic job! Thank you for

sending your students to school each day prepared to

succeed.

After school pick-up:

Last bell rings at 2:50: pick up your student by no

later than 3:10, students left after 3:10 will be

referred to Sheriff

Pull your car all the way forward up to the

multipurpose room

Do not park in red zones except in the two

designated pick up line areas

Do not leave your car unless it is in a parking spot,

not in the line

Who can we call if your child is ill if we do not have good

phone numbers?

We still do not have updated emergency cards on all of

our students. Always keep your card updated.

Free and reduced lunches must be renewed each year!

You may also pay for lunches on line at the district website.

Do not drop students off in the morning

until 8:00, there is no one here to

supervise them until then.

Due to health concerns with the flu, do not send your

Reminders:

Cell phones are to be turned off completely and put away

from the time a student gets on campus until the last bell

rings. Cell phone policy will be enforced.

Parents are not to call student’s cell phones during the

school day, call the office if you have an emergency.

Skateboards and scooters are not allowed on campus at

all; do not bring them to school.

School starts at 8:30, students are to be in

class at that time. We have way too many

late students each day.

If you walk your student to class, please do

not become engaged in a conversation with the teacher ,

they are trying to get the day started. If you need to talk to

the teacher, call or email them for an appointment.

Picking up student at end of day

If you have an appointment after school, you need to

be in the front office to request your child by 2:30.

Please do not come into the office after 2:30. The

reason is that our teachers are trying to end the day

and hand out assignments etc and it is very disruptive

to then be calling for students at that time. Thank

you.

Help Keep Komure Safe

Parents, if your child has a conflict with another

student on our campus, it is the schools responsibility

to handle the situation. Please instruct your student to

notify their teacher, a yard duty or the school office if

there is a problem. Students are not to use cell phones

to call adults to come to the school to confront kids;

this just leads to further problems with the adults as

well as the students making the situation far worse

than it was.

Try outs are coming for the school play, this year it is

Beauty and the Beast. Listen to school

announcements.

Multicultural Parking lot sale

Bring your goods and sell them in our parking lot on

Oct. 17

from 7am to 1pm. To secure a spot you need

to contact Maria Aranda @ 234-2616. Spaces cost

$20.00 each. The $20 is going to be given to the school
